Northern Vegan Festival 2016
I'm just coming off a fantastic weekend filled with delicious vegan treats! It was great to see such a huge turn out at the Northern Vegan Festival 2016 in Manchester. Although the main venue was slightly crazy and claustrophobic, it's great to see so many people of all ages getting involved and taking interest in vegan products.
Everything from food, clothing, beauty products and more was on offer, so there was something for everyone.
I got to play with my new camera for the first time, and I wanted to share some snaps of the beautiful stalls and brands available on the day.
We paid £15 for VIP tickets which meant we could skip the queues and got a goodie bag full of coupons, snacks and drinks. I would highly recommend you do this as it was VERY busy getting in, and you get the value of your ticket and more covered with all the yummy snack bars and other goodies in the bag.
I also think it's important to support these events as much as possible, spreading the vegan love and making sure all these great brands and organisations involved get the recognition they deserve.
Although we grubbed on SO MUCH good food, I have to say my personal highlight was this Oreo ice cream from The Teatime Collective. They're a vegan café and catering company in Manchester, and I can't wait to take a visit after savouring every last bit of this. It was honestly the best vegan ice cream I've had.
Have you been to a vegan festival before? I would highly recommend it for vegans and non-vegans alike! If you love supporting local businesses, enjoy natural food and lifestyle products, are dairy/gluten free or even just love to shop and browse whilst munching on free samples, there is so much on offer to you.
I will definitely be at the next one!
