The Mindful Kitchen Breakfast Club

Last week I was lucky enough to attend The Mindful Kitchen's Breakfast Club - a small breakfast event hosted by Bex and Jane, founders of The Mindful Kitchen.

You'll find The Mindful Kitchen at market stalls across Manchester including Chorlton, Didsbury and more. Their range of raw and baked treats are all plant based, homemade, gluten and refined sugar free. Although don't let those labels fool you, their food is delicious and satisfying.

They created the Breakfast Club because they noticed (rightly so) that Manchester is lacking when it comes to vegan breakfast spots. They also wanted to bring the community together to take time for themselves, enjoy a healthy breakfast together and practice meditation and mindfulness around not only the food we get to eat, but our everyday lives.

It was such a breath of fresh air for a Friday morning. When I'd usually be crouched at my desk working on my laptop, or busy with makeup clients, I spent my morning meeting new people, learning more about mindfulness with James of One Mind and eating lots of yummy vegan treats!

I definitely want to go again in the future and would highly recommend it if you enjoy not only healthy food, but cultivating a healthy mind and lifestyle overall. It was a really peaceful, uplifting morning, and just what my mind and body needed after a busy week!
